CRAVING A PEANUT BUTTER & JELLY SANDWICH? HEAD TO DTLA’S GRAND CENTRAL MARKET

Everyone loves peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, right?  Well, that’s what the people behind the PBJ.LA stand in Grand Central Market are hoping.  The sleek new counter opened a few months serving up the “Old School” sandwich made up of peanut butter with your choice of grape or strawberry jam, but they also have a menu full of other PB&J options.  How about the “New School” which is made with almond butter, or the “Red Eye” made with espresso peanut butter?  They even make Indian and Italian versions of the classic sandwich.  And get this, they pair them up with a variety of different milks.

Each sandwich is custom made to order, and cost between $5 to $8.50.  All of their nut butters, jams and milks are homemade from scratch with organic ingredients.  Bonus… the sandwiches are served crustless, just like your mom used to make.
