Just about every bar in DTLA offers up Happy Hour, but if you are looking to grab a little food with your Happy Hour beer or cocktail, you need to check out Rock & Reilly’s on Flower Street.  They offer up an excellent Happy Hour menu seven days a week from 3pm to 7:16pm.  Because there are 16 ounces in a pint, they run happy hour until 7:16pm, so there is time for one more.

During Happy Hour, the Buffalo Chicken Flatbread is only $8, compared to $14 on the standard menu.  It’s pulled chicken with blue cheese crumble, pickled red onions, celery and just the right amount of hot sauce.

Then there are the Tacos.  The Fish Tacos are normally $10, but during Happy Hour, they are only $6.  You get two tacos stuffed with beer battered cod, with grilled cabbage and an avocado cream.  The Chicken Tacos are normally $8, but only $5 during Happy Hour. Again, it’s two tacos filled with pulled chicken topped with spicy aioli, pico de gallo and pepper jack cheese.

Okay, here was the surprise… the Caesar Salad for only half price ($5).  It’s made with Romaine and Kale topped with croutons and shaved Parmesan cheese.  We love the combination of Romaine and Kale.

Finally, we added the Shamrock Pretzel with the dipping sauces for $5, compared to the normal $9.  This is the perfect companion for your Happy Hour beer(s).   Next time you are searching for Happy Hour, head to Rock & Reilly’s.  With the money you save on food, you can buy another round of drinks.  Remember, at Rock & Reilly’s Happy Hour lasts until 7:16pm, so use that additional time wisely.  Oh, but just a warning, Happy Hour is not available during major sports events.
