The French Riviera is coming to Downtown Los Angeles. The popular St. Tropez bakery La Tropezienne is opening up on the corner of Main and 8th Streets, taking over the former home of the AltHouse boutique, across the street from Terroni.
There is already a La Tropezienne restaurant on La Brea Avenue where guests can dine on classic French sandwiches, quiche and salads, plus indulge on decadent pastries. According to the website, La Tropezienne was founded in 1992 in France, and is now recognized worldwide for a dessert created by Chef Laurent Cazzasa called Tarte Tropezienne described as a filled brioche. Well, I can’t wait to try one!
There is no official opening date. Right now, the signs just say “Coming Soon.” In the meantime, check out the amazing food photos on the La Tropezienne Instagram page.
