LITTLE FLUFFY HEAD CAFE’S “CHEESE TEA” IS DTLA’S NEXT INSTAGRAM FOOD CRAZE!

Are you tired of seeing photos of Little Damage Ice Cream on Instagram yet?  Well, get ready for DTLA’s next Instagram food craze… Little Fluffy Head Cafe’s cheese tea drinks.  If you are like me, you are asking yourself who mixes tea and cheese?  Apparently it’s all the rage in Asia right now and it’s making it’s way to DTLA.  We had to check it out.  Little Fluffy Head Café just opened on 7th Street, ironically about a half block west of Little Damage.  You can’t miss it… there is a “Say Cheese Tea” neon sign in the window.

Okay, it’s not cheese like on a pizza.  It’s a cream cheese, a layer of decadent creamy cheese foam that is paired with refreshing, sweet tea underneath.  You order a tea base like Jasmine Green Tea ($6) and it’s topped with a soft handmade cream cheese with a pink of Himalayan pink salt.  I know it sounds odd, but it’s really good.  I went for a milk tea drink called the Dirty Mess ($6).  It’s black milk tea with a crème brulee cream cheese dusted with crushed Oreos.  It is so delicious.   You have to try it to understand… and right now, they are offering buy one get one free (until 9/30).  To get the BOGO offer you have to go to the website and enter your email address.

Seriously, go get your fluffy tea now, before you end up waiting in line with all the other Instagram followers.
