DTLAexplorer.com first told you about Miro restaurant back in March 2016.  Well, it’s time to tell you about it again.  The people at Miro have started a new Bottomless Bubbles & Brunch menu on weekends.  The Chef has created a sweet and savory menu with classic dishes like Ricotta Pancakes and Duck Egg Omelets.  And to wash it all down, the restaurant is offering up unlimited Mimosas for $14 per person.

I love a good brunch, so I could not wait to give it a try.  We started with the Buttermilk Biscuits ($8).  These biscuits are served with honey butter and the most spectacular jam. Be sure to order these biscuits for the table to share, but when they arrive at the table grab a whole one for yourself, then cover it in the honey butter and jam.  Delicious!

The menu is filled with great brunch options.  This was a tough decision for me, but I finally decided on the Chicken & Waffles ($18).  It’s a deboned fried chicken breast and thigh topped with sage butter on top of a giant waffle bathed in a maple glaze.  After scarfing down two biscuits, this was a lot of food, but don’t think I didn’t eat most of it. Next time in need to try those Ricotta Pancakes!

My husband took the server’s recommendation and ordered the Italian Benedict ($17).  It was perfectly poached eggs on a bed of house-made prosciutto covered in Hollandaise sauce.  This dish is served with a side of double fried potatoes.  Okay, let me just rave about these double fried potatoes.  OMG!  So good!  Whatever you order at Miro, be sure to get the double fried potatoes.

There are so many places in DTLA that are currently serving weekend brunch, but Miro’s Bottomless Bubbles & Brunch is at the top of my list.  The food is great.  The restaurant space is beautiful, and the service was friendly.  Make your reservations now.  Brunch is served 11am to 3pm, plenty of time to get your money’s worth of bottomless mimosas, right?
