There are dozens of places in DTLA to enjoy a great brunch, but if you are looking for an authentic French experience, head to Le Petit Paris on Spring Street. The glamorous French restaurant serves up an extensive buffet ($49/person) and the option to add on endless Mimosas ($15), Bloody Mary’s ($18), Bellinis ($16) and Champagne ($35). We checked the place out a few weeks ago and we cashed in on the bottomless drinks. Brunch is served from 11am until 3pm… that’s a lot of time to sit around with friends throwing back bottomless cocktails. Maybe too long because I only took a few photos of my food.
You can’t tell from my photos but there was endless French breakfast pastries, eggs Benedict, scrambled eggs with bacon, cheeses, salads, quiche and even a meat carving station. And then there was all the desserts plus a chocolate fountain. There was a huge variety of food.
Gather up the friends and make plans to have brunch at Le Petit Paris, but make sure you invite your friends with the biggest appetites and your friends who can drink… you need to make sure you get your money’s worth. Bon appetit.
