WOLFGANG PUCK BAR & GRILL IS A SOLID DINING CHOICE AT L.A. LIVE

Although we live close to L.A. Live, we try not to eat there too often, but every once and in while we are too lazy to walk anywhere else, so we end up there.  Recently we popped into Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill.  It was a dark night at Staples Center and Microsoft Theater, plus there weren’t any conventions in town, so we get seated very quickly.  We weren’t that hungry, but as usual ordered too much food.

My husband started with the Chinese Chicken Salad ($18).  You can’t really go to a WP restaurant and not get the Chinese Chicken Salad.  It’s one of our favorites, and always a good choice.  I started with the Fettuccini with wild & domestic mushrooms topped with Parmigiano Reggiano ($23).  This dish is awesome!  Delicious!

We then split a Spicy Meatball Pizza ($20) with Mozzarella di Buffala, pickled peppers and Sicilian oregano.  For a pizza, it’s a little more expensive than Live Basil Pizza across the plaza, but it’s so much better.  Now don’t get Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill confused with WP24.  WP24 is the pricey Wolfgang Puck restaurant upstairs in the Ritz Carlton Hotel.  If you end up there, you are going to end up spending a wad of cash.  Based on price, food and atmosphere, Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill is one of the top restaurants in L.A. Live. What’s your favorite restaurant at L.A. Live?  Please share your opinions in the comments segment below.  Follow our DTLA explorations on social media: Facebook, Twitter and Instagram or email us at Hello@DTLAexplorer.com.
