imageLooking for a way to beat the heat in DTLA?  Head to Amazebowls in DTLA’s Arts District. Amazebowls has been blowing up social media since it’s food truck rolled out, but now Amazebowls has opened it’s first brick and mortar location.  The official grand opening was this past weekend at the new permanent location in the One Santa Fe complex.  YES!

imageTo quote the website, “Amazebowls takes a playful approach to provide nutrition-packed foods that are both indulgent and healthy.”  They serve up a variety of acai bowls, smoothies and other superfood treats.

We ordered the original Amazebowl, filled with acai, blueberries, pineapple, banana, agave, and hemp milk, then we added a few extra toppings.  It was so refreshing and delicious, and unlike ice cream you don’t feel guilty about eating it.  Amazebowls is open 8am to 8pm everyday.  I can’t wait to visit Amazebowls again, and again!
