TAMPA’S ICHICORO RESTAURANT BRINGS IT’S CU-BAO-NO SANDWICH TO DTLA’S SMORGASBURG

imageOkay, when you head to Smorgasburg in DTLA on Sunday, don’t miss the Ichicoro booth. That’s where a ramen restaurant from Tampa is making their signature CuBaoNo sandwiches.  It’s a traditional pressed Cubano sandwich of roasted citrus marinated pork, ham, Swiss cheese and pickles, but stead of bread, this one is served on a Chinese steamed bun called a bao.  It will cost you $6 and you may be surprised by it’s size.  It’s on the small side, but it’s really good.

When you go to the Ichicoro restaurant website, the CuBaoNo is sold in threes. So go ahead and get one.. then get two more. It’s a great little sandwich.
