imageWhen someone offers up bottomless mimosas, they get my attention.  Well, the people at Spear restaurant are now serving brunch on both Saturdays and Sundays.  To celebrate, they are pouring FREE bottomless mimosas to everyone who orders off their new brunch menu on Saturday, June 25th.  Yep, make your reservations now.

We brunched at Spear last weekend.  The brunch menu has a lot of good dishes, but I went for the Crab Benedict ($17).  It was two poached eggs on top of crab cakes in a bed of creamed spinach on English muffins, plus of course Hollandaise sauce.  It’s served with a side of fingerling potatoes.  I cleared my plate!  It was delicious.  image

imageMy husband ordered the Vegetarian Omelette ($13) with… wait for it… BACON.  Yes, he really ordered a vegetarian omelette with bacon.  The three egg omelette is stuffed with mushrooms, broccolini and tomatoes, topped with cheese… adding the bacon made it even better.  He loved his dish too.

The staff was very generous with the bottomless mimosas.  Our glasses were never empty. If you miss the free bottomless mimosa day on June 25th, you can get bottomless mimosas at future brunches for just $10.  If you are looking for weekend brunch in DTLA, be sure to check out Spear restaurant.  Brunch is served 10am to 4pm on Saturdays, and 10am to 5pm on Sundays.
