SPOIL YOURSELF AT THE MALIN & GEOTZ APOTHECARY IN DTLA’S ARTS DISTRICT

imageYou deserve a treat every once in a while, right?  Well, head to Malin & Goetz in the Arts District and splurge on yourself.  Malin & Goetz is a modern neighborhood apothecary located in the retail level of the One Sante Fe complex.  The little boutique is packed with soaps, creams and lotions for both men and women.

Malin & Geotz opened their first store in the Chelsea neighborhood of New York City back in 2004 focusing on the needs of people with sensitive skin.  They boast that their “advanced formulas blend trusted natural ingredients with performance technologies for the face, body and hair.”  Over the years the company has expanded, opening a few more stores in Manhattan and then Los Angeles.  Right now there are Malin & Geotz locations in Larchmont, Santa Monica and Downtown LA.  Opening a store in Arts District is a big investment in the development of DTLA, so we all need to show our support.

Their products are not cheap.  An 8 oz. bottle of their Peppermint Shampoo will cost you $20.  Right now, I am obsessed with the Vitamin E Shave Cream.  It’s $42 for an 8.5 oz. pump, but it’s so worth it.  It’s the best shave cream ever!  This is clearly the place you go when you want (or need) to pamper yourself.  Check out all their products on the website, but don’t order online, go to the Arts District store in person and Shop DTLA.
