For months I have seen posts about Burgerlords on Instagram, and finally I got to see (and taste) what all the buzz is about. Burgerlords is a walk-up window located in Chinatown’s Central Plaza just off Broadway. They do one thing and they do it right: burgers!
Their menu is simple. Hamburger, Cheeseburger, Double Cheeseburger and a housemade vegan burger, plus french fries! I ordered the cheeseburger ($5.50). It’s a custom tri-blend, grass-fed beef on a sponge bun with lettuce, tomato, onion, thousand and American Cheese. What’s great about this burger is it’s not big and sloppy. It’s clean, simple and delicious.
My husband also ordered a cheeseburger, but he made his a combo ($8.50) by adding french fries and a Coke. Burgerlords’ fries are shoestring-style, made with private reserve Kennenbec potatoes. Perfect!
There is a small seating area in the midst of Chinatown’s Central Plaza. It’s like eating at EPCOT in Disney World, just a lot cheaper. Burgerlords is open every day from 11am until 9pm, except on Fridays and Saturdays when they are open until 10pm. If you are craving a burger, head to Chinatown and check this place out. Plus there’s bonus: the Bruce Lee Memorial Statue is right around the corner. Enjoy your burger and then take a selfie with Bruce Lee.
