DOWNTOWN LA WALKING TOURS TAKES YOU ON A TRIP THROUGH DTLA’S HOLIDAY LIGHTS AND DECORATIONS

IMG_0945There are so many things to see in Downtown Los Angeles during the holidays, and there’s no way to see them all, but you can see a lot of them on the Holiday Lights Tour hosted by Downtown LA Walking Tours.  The Holiday Lights Tour is offered up now through December 30th.  It focuses on the lights, decorations, festivities and holiday cheer throughout the central city during the most joyous time of the year, including Christmas and Hanukkah.

The special holiday tour takes place every night at 6:30pm, beginning at Union Station. It’s a walking tour.  You cover a lot of ground so wear comfortable shoes.  Neel, the guide, takes you to a variety of locations including the Nativity scene at Olvera Street, Grand Park and Pershing Square.  Neel is full of stories.  He has detailed information about each location, and he’s happy to answer all your questions along the way.

The tour lasts about 2 hours and costs just $15 a person, children under 13 are free.  If you want to see how DTLA celebrates the Holidays, I highly recommend this tour.

In addition to the Holiday Lights Tour, Downtown LA Walking Tours offers many other DTLA tours including LA Beginnings, Old & New LA, Downtown Architecture and Hollywood in DTLA.
