Dinner at Wolfgang Puck’s WP24 inside the Ritz Carlton Hotel at L.A. Live isn’t cheap. The three course meal is $80 a person. The four course meal is $100 a person. And those prices do not include drinks, tax or tip. The WP24 food, service and view are amazing, but not everyone can afford to drop $250 on date night. Well, there is a way to get the WP24 experience without breaking the bank.
Head up to the 24th floor of the hotel and go to Nest. Nest is a lounge that is separate from the WP24 restaurant, but it offers up the same amazing view of the DTLA skyline. It’s a great place to go to enjoy one of their special signature cocktails.
You can also order appetizers in Nest. The California Roll ($16) is great, but my favorite thing to eat is not on the Nest menu. It’s the Hong Kong Noodles from WP24. If you ask your server nicely, they will bring them to you in Nest. They are soft noodles served with wild field mushrooms. The dish is absolutely delicious.
Check out Nest before/after a game or concert downstairs at L.A. Live. You don’t need reservations to go to Nest, and it’s quite casual.
