BULL TACO IS BRINGING INAUTHENIC MEXICAN FOOD TO DTLA

IMG_9317Downtown Los Angeles is getting another Mexican restaurant.  Signs announcing Bull Taco have gone up on the southwest corner of 2nd and Broadway.  According to its website, the restaurant is scheduled to open in the fall of 2015.  There are already five Bull Taco restaurants in Southern California, but this new location will be the first in DTLA.

Bull Taco describes itself as “Inauthentic Mexican.”   It serves tacos, burritos, tortas, quesadillas and bowls with the expected traditional ingredients, but also serves up some original varieties like shrimp curry, surf & turf and the SBC (shrimp, bacon, chorizo).  It also has some very interesting everyday and daily specials, including tater tots (yes!).

The restaurant’s website boasts, “Bull Taco provides our customers with a unique and progressive Southern California experience.  We source the exotic meats and seafood from around the world and from local purveyors.”   The site has a “Food Porn” section that filled with photos of some incredible looking food.  The fall can’t get here soon enough!
