PELLICOLA PIZZERIA IS THE PERFECT PLACE TO STOP AS YOU STUMBLE HOME FROM THE CLUBS

20150329_002742You know when you are making your way home after a night of drinking you suddenly have a craving for pizza?  Well, Pellicola Pizzeria on West 8th Street, next to the Golden Gopher between Hill and Olive, seems to always call me in.  Maybe it’s because I always need to pee and they have a very clean bathroom, but it’s probably because I love some midnight (okay, 2am) pizza.

A single slice of pepperoni is $4, and their slices are huge.  One of Pellicola’s single slices is the size of two regular slices at most places.  They have a nice variety of pizzas including vegetarian.  They also have a Nutella pizza with powdered sugar and sliced almonds.  I’ve not tried it, but it looks delicious.

I already told you about the bathroom, but I didn’t tell you about the rest of the place.  This place has a real pizzeria feel with the counter in the back where you order and then there are two levels with seating.  Depending on the time of night, this place gets packed.  I guess I’m not the only one who likes pizza after a few drinks.
