L.A. LIVE WILL GET NEW RESTAURANT IN A FEW WEEKS

IMG_1782 (2)We are just a few weeks away from the grand opening of the newest restaurant in the L.A. Live entertainment complex.  DTLAexplorer.com has learned that Triple 8 China Bar & Grill is set to open in April.  Construction and remodeling of the space started back in October soon after the temporary façade went up in front of the old Trader Vic’s location on Olympic Boulevard.  The restaurant’s website is still under construction too.  Right now when you go to the site it just reads “Coming Soon Spring 2015.”

The Invest LA website has some design renderings of the restaurant’s interior and exterior.

Triple 8 is described as a modern Chinese restaurant that will offer up Cantonese seafood and dim sum, with a western presentation.   It will be serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and late-night dining, as well as take out and delivery via catering service.  It is owned by the M2K Group who also run Wokano, 3rd Generation, Spear and The Bunker Hill Bar & Grill here in Downtown Los Angeles.
