Looking to do a little bargain shopping in DTLA? Head to Diaso Japan in the Little Tokyo Galleria at 3rd and Alameda Streets. This place is the Japanese version of the 99 Cent Only store… just almost everything here is priced at $1.50.
Now if you are like me, you have probably never been to a Daiso. Well, this place has everything from Asian specialty food items to pet toys to flip-flops to kitchen utensils… and everything is in bright, very bright colors.
There are over 700 Daiso stores in 25 countries around the world. Twenty-five of them right here in the Los Angeles area, but the Little Tokyo location is one of the largest 8,300 square feet. You have to check this place out.
