This rendering (left) shows what the new LA Figueroa Central will look like once it is completed in 2018. The mega-complex will hold three high-rise towers that will include luxury condos, a Roberto Cavalli branded hotel, high-end shopping, a dog park, a playground and even a jogging track.
The Fig Central site is flanked by Figueroa and Flower Streets between 11th and 12th Streets. As you can see in the slide show (below), the land was used as Staples Center parking lot #7.
Demolition of the lot started in early December 2014 and by early March 2015 it has become a massive dirt hole. We will continue to update the slide show as the construction continues.
